Here's an update regarding several very exciting advances in the works of Pilot Consulting:

Great thought leaders inside. We are highlighting our works with a number of distinguished thought leaders with whom Pilot's president, Chris Cappy has collaborated with for years. They bring incredible expertise and depth of experience to the solutions and value we bring to our clients. They are treasured friends and resources!

The power of peer communities to produce extraordinary results. We have a few new examples from our last several years working with the top 100 leaders from three companies - each #1 in their respective fields. One of our clients was recently acquired for a 15.4X multiple and attributes a portion of this valuation as tied to the impact of Leaders Leading. These articles and vignettes highlight structured, action learning-based interventions, grounded in execution of strategy, and targeted to drive business performance and collaboration across business areas. One utilized the powerful TriMetrix® assessment tool for development. Over durations of six-to-nine months, in every case, substantial results were realized.

Coaching for Performance has really ramped up lately, both with leaders who want to perform at the next level and with those facing potential derailers. Our Co-Pilots work closely with the leader, informed by multi-dimensional assessments and organizational interviews, to identify issues and improve performance very quickly.

Driving Leaders 2012 will bring together thirty participants at the Porsche Sport Driving School at Barber Motorsport Park. Given our interest in high performance, we have utilized this venue with several clients to highlight the mindset and skill set that accompanies delivering high performance as related to driving on a road race circuit. Beyond being incredible fun, we derive practical and useful principles for leaders leading in the workplace.

Pilot's High Performance Tune Ups was born and bred in response to these recent times. Its tailored design works flexibly with a single or multiple teams. These are workshops that bring a lot of value to a lot of people in a short, focused, productive timeframe, utilizing our most effective tools for diagnostics, trouble-shooting, alignment and go-forward planning in 4, 8, 12 or 16 hour increments.
